| YOUTH CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL Runs concurrently with the SRS and members of the YCMF are invited to participate in the SRS as well. Festival is concluded with a concert and ice cream social for SRS attendees, families, and friends. | BERNIE RAPPAPORT MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUNG ARTISTS COMPETITION This year’s competition is for the clarinet. Audition is Tuesday, November 1. Prizes are a clarinet outfit and the opportunity to play with the Montgomery Philharmonic in its March 4 concert. Check our website for details. |

The Montgomery Philharmonic is a community based orchestra whose members come from a range of professions with one focus in mind—the enjoyment of learning and making music together. Our dues are modest and scholarships are available. We consider ourselves a teaching orchestra and rarely turn anyone away.
